Co-founder of Movench

I co-founded Movench during my third year of engineering, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when industries were facing unprecedented mass layoffs while others were actively hiring. To bridge this gap, we built the world’s first secondment platform—designed to prevent layoffs by enabling a new, cross-industry sharing economy for talent.

This wasn't just my first startup—it was my product management bootcamp on steroids.

What I Built: A B2B SaaS platform enabling companies to temporarily share employees, solving mass layoffs while maintaining workforce flexibility.

What I Learned:

  • Customer Discovery: Interviewed 119 companies to validate the problem (spoiler: it was real)

  • Technical Hustle: Learned Django backend to build MVP solo in 2 months

  • Product-Market Fit: Pivoted 3 times based on customer feedback

  • Enterprise Sales: Led pilot discussions with Uber, S&P Global, and Microsoft UK

  • The Hard Truth: Sometimes great products need perfect timing (we were early)

Key Takeaway: Product management isn't about having all the answers—it's about asking the right questions and iterating fast
